With National Poetry Day 2010 now behind us we embark upon a new week of lit events in our beloved Glasgow. Listed below are the details of events will are scheduled to take place this week.

Scotia Writers Open Mic Evening, Monday Oct. 11 @ 8.30pm @ Scotia Bar, Glasgow

Strathkelving Writers' Group will be meeting on Tuesday Oct. 12 @ 7.30pm @ St James the Less Episcopal Church, Hilton Road, Bishopbriggs

Iain Banks Surface Detail Book Launch, Wednesday Oct. 13 @ 6.30pm-8.00pm @ Waterstone's Sauchiehall Street, Tickets £3, available in store and redeemable against purchase. Call 0141 332 9105 for more info.

Allan Massie will be launching his newest work, 'KLAUS and Other Stories on Wednesday Oct. 13 @ 7pm @ the Goethe Institute, Park Circus, Glasgow. Free admission.
